Nur Engineering and Nur Chemicals are sister companies of NUR Group, which were founded in Amman - Jordan in 1982. Their goal was to serve the oil industry which was booming in the Middle Eastern countries in the late 70's.

As the industry was expanding in a rapid manner, Nur group was also expanding rapidly to meet the demand of this industry. The expansion was mainly contributed to the activities and facilities related to oil industry.
